Welcome to the 2025 BC Provincial Racquetball Championships hosted by the YMCA-YWCA of Vancouver Island.
Entry includes: Hospitality all weekend, Souvenir package, Event awards.
-Friday Night: Food and refreshments at the courts.
-Saturday: Morning and Afternoon Food and refreshments at the courts. Banquet dinner, draw prizes and club awards at 7:00pm at Christies Carriage House Pub.
-Sunday: Morning and Afternoon Food and Refreshments. Awards Presentation.
There is a cap of 50 players with a waiting list. If you choose to enter please be prepared to commit yourself to being available to play during the entire weekend, failure to make your play time will result in forfeit of game and no one likes to win by forfeit. Players are asked to be at the club at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled game time in order to keep the courts full and on time as much as possible. Please enter as early as possible. This helps when ordering shirts and assuring correct sizes. Especially juniors and smaller sizes. Also helps out tournament organizers.
The Event Director reserves the right to combine or cancel any division due to insufficient entries.
The Event Director may refuse participants entry for any reason.
Matches will be best 3 out of 5 to 11 tie break to 11 win by 2 in the tie break. Losers of their game will be expected to referee the next match on that court. A reminder to out of town players to bring your own locker locks.
The Event Director would like to remind all participants that our main theme for our YMCA-YWCA Racquetball Tournament is to promoting Sportsmanship and Respect to Players and Referees.
The Event Director would like to extend a warm welcome to Players from across BC to come enjoy our beautiful island and the wonderful hospitality that Victorians are known for.
If you are walking on the ferry or flying in to the airport we can arrange to pick you up. Call or text me before the tournament to arrange for a ride.
